Save with our fixed-fee advice

Financial planning should give you clarity from the start. That includes knowing what your advice will cost, why it costs that amount, and what work is being carried out on your behalf.

We take time to understand your life, family, income, expenditure, pensions, investments, goals and concerns before recommending what should happen next. Your fee reflects the planning, analysis and ongoing support required, not simply the value of your portfolio.

For your Financial MasterPlan, we quote a fixed fee before any work begins. This gives you a clear price for the detailed forecasting, tax planning, investment strategy and recommendations needed to help you see the whole picture.

If you become an ongoing client, we agree a service fee based on the value added, the complexity of your situation and the time required to keep your plan on track. For some smaller portfolios, percentage fees can be cheaper, and we will tell you if that option is more suitable.

The aim is simple: open and honest advice, clear costs, and a planning experience that helps you make confident choices. To see how those fees connect to the work we do, explore our four-stage client journey.

A fairer way to charge

Fees based on advice, not portfolio size

Unlike percentage-based charging, our fees are linked to the service you receive and the complexity of your circumstances, rather than automatically increasing as your investments grow.

Ongoing Partnership

Ongoing Service

For ongoing coaching and planning, we divide our clients into three price bands based on value added, complexity and time.

Wealth accumulators Building towards financial independence
£3,750 - £7,000
Those in retirement Ensuring your wealth lasts and grows
£3,750 - £10,000
High-net-worth / complex Complex finances requiring specialist attention
£8,000+

For those with smaller portfolios, percentage fees can work out cheaper. If that applies in your case, you will have that option.

Why fixed fees work better

No surprises

Know exactly what you'll pay before we start. Your fee is agreed upfront and won't change.

Aligned interests

We're paid for advice quality, not asset growth. Our recommendations are never influenced by commission.

Save significantly

Most clients save tens of thousands compared to percentage fees over their lifetime.

Fair for everyone

Whether your portfolio is £500k or £3m, you pay for the service delivered - not a percentage of your wealth.

Both ongoing fee options start at £3,750: the percentage fee is 0.75% and rises with the portfolio, while the fixed fee increases in line with the assumed UK long-term inflation target. Financial MasterPlan, implementation, platform and underlying fund charges are excluded. This is not a forecast or a statement of the fee that will apply to you.

What our clients say

Frequently asked questions

Why do you charge fixed fees instead of percentages?

We believe financial advice should be priced based on the work involved and value delivered, not the size of your investments. Percentage fees punish success - the more your investments grow, the more you pay, even though the work required stays the same.

What's included in the Financial MasterPlan fee?

Your MasterPlan includes comprehensive analysis of your current situation, detailed cashflow modelling, tax-efficient structuring recommendations, investment strategy, retirement projections, and a clear action plan. It's your complete financial roadmap.

How much can I save with fixed fees?

A typical client with £500,000 invested paying 1% annually would pay £5,000 per year - £50,000 over a decade. Our fixed fees often represent a fraction of this, potentially saving you £30,000-£50,000 or more over time.

When might percentage fees work out cheaper?

For smaller portfolios (typically under £500,000), percentage fees may work out cheaper. We'll always be upfront about this and offer you the option if it applies to your situation.

Do you charge for the initial meeting?

No. The first meeting is always at our cost. We take time to understand your situation and goals, and determine whether we can genuinely add value before you commit to anything.

What determines which price band I fall into?

Your ongoing service fee depends on a combination of value added, complexity of your situation, and time required. We'll discuss this transparently and agree your fee before any work begins.
