- 41% of respondents indicated a need for more funds than initially planned, especially among those retiring early (50 to 59 years).

The survey also revealed diverse states of pension savings and attitudes towards financial advice:
- Average retirement savings: just over £185,000.
- 16% retired without any pension funds.
- 12% had savings over £500,000; 5% between £700,000 and £899,000.
- 31% did not seek financial advice; 26% consulted a financial adviser.
